MBS Rockstar Pro II XL rim - Grey

The new MBS Rockstar Pro II rims have been designed as a standard to fit all mountainboard 8-inch tires, while also being suitable for smaller sizes (6 and 7").

This XL version complements the standard version and fits 8, 9 and 10-inch tires.

For the rest, this Rockstar Pro II XL benefits from the same improvements as its little sister, with more adjustment options and greater sturdiness.

Customization at will

The internal construction of the faceted rims is designed to work with the new MBS weight system to modify balance, essential for electric mountainboarders to fine-tune their frames.

The bearing cage is Offset, meaning that the bearing is not in the center of the rim, but off-center to one side. In the standard position, the center of the wheel is further away from the chainring, offering greater stability. The advantage is that the rims can be rotated to achieve the opposite effect!

As with the standard version, Rockstar Pro II XL rims retain the same bearing spacing, so they can be fitted to any mountainboard rim in exactly the same way as the older versions, or Fivestar rims.

The strongest rim?

Another detail: the two hemispheres of the MBS Rockstar Pro II rims now fit together in a "double-lip" system that locks the rim completely, preventing the two parts from shifting and warping the rims, particularly in the event of heavy impact. Overall, RSPROIIs are extremely robust.
