MBS Rockstar Pro II rim - Black

The MBS Rockstar Pro II is an aluminum rim suitable for 6-, 7- or 8-inch tires.

Customization on the agenda

Ultra-strong rims, slightly wider than Rockstar Pro (the first of the name), for more pach contact and therefore more stability. The innovative faceted construction is designed to work with the new MBS weight system to modify balance, very useful for electric mountainboarders to fine-tune their frames.

The bearing cage is Offset, meaning that the bearing is not in the center of the rim, but closer to deck than to the outside. In the standard position, the wheels are therefore further away from the chainring, offering even more width between the two wheels, and therefore more seating. But the big plus is that the rims can be rotated, to achieve the opposite effect, and once again serve (as with all MBS 2022 novelties) as new customization options.

Rockstar Pro II rims retain the same bearing spacing, however, and can therefore be adapted to any board in exactly the same way as older versions, or Fivestar.

Increased strength

Another detail: the two hemispheres of the MBS Rockstar Pro II rims now fit together in a "double-lip" system that locks the rim in place, preventing the two parts from shifting and warping the rims, especially on heavy impacts. Overall, RSPROIIs are extremely robust.
